Job Description

Job descriptionOne of our clients, Oil&Gas/Petrochemical Engineering and Design Company, is hiring for Sr. Electrical Engineer on contract role to be based in Qatar for an offshore brownfield project. This is a residential with initial duration of 24 months (renewable).Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise/services to the Project in all areas of Electrical Engineering, during Front End Engineering Design & Detailed Design phase, ensuring that the Electrical facilities designs are optimal, safe, cost effective and in compliance with the latest Codes, Standards, National and Corporate requirements and procedures.
  • Responsible for all the design and development aspects of Electrical Engineering of the Project.
  • Responsible for safe and optimal electrical design development for the Project in coordination with various Discipline Engineers of the Project and ensure that Electrical Design developments are cost effective, using latest technology and delivered in a timely manner consistent with Project schedule requirements.
  • Undertake Electrical concept optimization studies and ensure that the selected option is optimal, cost effective and environmentally compliant to State of Qatar regulations.
