Participate in developing the overall HSSEQ incident investigation strategy, standards, procedures and processes
Undertake investigations into major HSSEQ incidents providing detailed technical investigation reports which identify precise root causes and recommend corrective / preventative actions to determine risk minimisation effectiveness
Maintain oversight of investigation process for lower-tiered HSSEQ incidents, guiding cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive investigation to determine impact, identify root cause and implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Evaluating Department and Business Unit investigation reports to ensure integrity of investigation process and appropriate countermeasures are identified to minimise potential for reoccurrence
Provide incident identification, monitoring, response and reporting requirements within designated timelines, and in line with company procedure
Develop and facilitate investigation coaching and mentoring programmes, conduct regular sessions to ensure that all appropriate personnel are effective in investigation techniques
Draft, distribute and present HSSEQ Alerts and Lessons Learned presentations across the organisation
Attended Incident Review Panels when required to provide insight to investigation methodology and findings
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Autonomous authority to enact a ?stop work? on operational activities at any point where they have a reasonable expectation that an event could occur which would result in injury, environmental effect or damage to property
May undertake whatever corrective action they feel reasonable at a given point in time to mitigate risk to people, environment or property
