Job Description

Job purpose:The Integration Specialist is responsible for managing the conceptualization, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of highly complex Interfaces to integrate healthcare solutions that enable the achievement of complex business requirements.Specifically, this role will be working to Integrate highly complex Healthcare Systems using Health Level 7 (HL7) v2, v3 and FHIR, DICOM and other messaging protocols.Main tasks and responsibilities (the position exist to perform the below tasks and essential activities)

  • Liaise with the various business units and vendors and discuss the desired workflows and the required integration interfaces for achieving them.
  • Design the interfaces and develop the required documentation.
  • Develop the interfaces in the enterprise integration engine and work with application vendors on the configuration from the application side.
  • Develop testing scenarios and plan and conducts testing.
  • Troubleshoots interfaces in case of data discrepancy and identifies the root cause and the resolution.
  • Detailed analysis of existing system interfaces and specifications as part of interface design formulation and support.
  • Provision of Integration and Interface consulting services on a range of topics across the EMR program from strategy to operations which may entail investigation and development of recommendations.
  • Review and update of Integration and Interface solution designs and specifications based on implementation, testing, and production changes
  • Development and review of implementation plans, change requests, internal and external procurement orders, and other required documents in support of delivery and deployment of interfaces
  • Ensuring the technical integrity of Integration and Interface solution designs, builds, tests and Implementations
  • Working with internal and external technical stakeholders including vendors to ensure a fully integrated solution that meets the objectives of the project
  • Ensuring that there are no technical Integration scope gaps
  • Assessing the impact of any technical changes in scope
  • Where applicable apply international quality and accreditation standards (Such as JCI, CAP, HIMSS) for testing and validation of clinical and allied health programs.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the department?s short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the division?s strategic priorities and contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial objectives.
  • Monitor, control, and report key performance indicators related to the department, to track performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE&E and QM policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service standards and a responsible environmental attitude.
