Job Description

You are responsible for assisting and implementing Project programs across the Project/site construction activities and coordinating for the preparation of site commencement and material arrangements as per client Priority & Schedule. Must assure regulatory compliance; process control, preparation of project completion report, health and hygiene and safety standards are met. Must recommend development training, strictly adhere to all QHSE requirements, and confirm procedures and documents are in accordance with Client & company requirements. Decision in best technique to adopt on site to implement procedure and method statements.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Will understand Company?s QHSE policy, Objectives, Programs & targets, and own responsibilities to implement the Policies and achieving Objectives.
  • Efficient employment of manpower and equipment.
  • Proper utilization of construction Tools & equipment?s.
  • Proper and efficient utilization of consumables.
  • Proper care to own and customer Properties & Materials.
  • Identifying and resolving construction issues and conflicts.
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress and reporting on project status to management and clients.
  • Toolbox talk to train workers on proper Method statement and Hazards associated with the job
  • Training of manpower to customer specification needs (i.e., Work at Height , H2S, Defensive Driving, Confined Space, etc?)
  • Take an active part in incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Ensure that the risk assessment and hazard identification Environmental Aspect and Impact assessment are carried out whenever high-risk jobs are planned and ensure control measures are implemented to reduce risk/ Impact.
  • Demonstrate the commitment to the continual improvement of QHSE Management System like conducting regular HSE trainings, HSE Meetings, and periodic HSE inspections of sites and associated work areas in coordination with the site HSE coordinator. Take corrective actions as required to maintain a high standard of HSE requirements.
  • Upholding HSE regulation & Quality requirement (Tests & Checks).
  • Implement the Production Managers directions.
  • Recording and reporting on all site-related issues (Quality, Man hours, test results, Checks, etc.)
  • Liaise with the HSE department for HSE matters.
  • Sanctions Overtime with the approval of Manager.
  • Issue requisition for materials from Site Stores/ Main Store.
Communication:
  • External ? With Client Construction Engineers & managers.
  • Internal - Departmental Heads (through reporting authority) and all staff.
