We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a SENIOR TECHNICAL HSE ENGINEER who will based in Qatar on a long term residential contract working in the clients Engineering Services DepartmentExperience/Qualifications Required10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years in Oil & Gas industry providing engineering solutions for process safeguarding, development of scope of work, technical specifications / data sheets, drawings, presentations, leading discussions and technical interface with stake holders in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industrySkill/ knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or other standards related to his area of expertiseExperience shall include hands-on capability to use hazard and risk management tools, such as PHAST, FRED, PHA Works, Bow Tie XP, etc and design of safety and fire protection systems for onshore and offshore facilitiesShall be familiar with international codes and standards related to Process Safeguarding, Fire & Gas Detection, Fire Protection, Hazardous Area Classification and Life Safety.Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringAdditional postgraduate qualifications in Safety Engineering and Risk Management will add value. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable
