Job Responsibilities 1
Develop cost effective designs in a timely manner that are appropriate to the project and client?s needs,
ensuring documentation is accurate and correct prior to issue.
Coordinate documentation and essentially ensures that client requirements are met within the specified budget
and time frame.
Lead in the preparation of calculations and designs for engineering systems and detailed drawings.
Monitor the site works to establish that it is being carried out in accordance with specifications and methods
statements. Monitor and Deal with the day to day queries from site, ensuring that relevant information is
available on time for the smooth progress of construction activity.
Ensure to serve as reference for all site structural related issues and provide solutions.
Ensure to participate in the QAQC check to ensure that the construction works complies with the approved shop
DWGs and MOS.
Ensure to develop a list of structural drawings and submittals to a program agreed with the Engineering
Manager.
Ensure to review the design for constructability and coordination and report on the issues to the designer.
Ensure to verify the design documents and report on the issue and advise on solutions.
Ensure to coordinate with other disciplines and Architectural to ensure accurate coordinated DWGs/Shop
DWGs are being issued.
Ensure to approve and provide suitable shop drawings in a timely, efficient and accurate basis to the
construction team in order to meet production targets and schedules.
Ensure to supervise and manage the team of Jr. Structural Engineers, Coordinators and draftsman in order to
maintain decided production and Quality level.
Ensure to manage the As Built DWGs preparation right after the completion of the relevant construction activity
on site, then submission for consultant review and approval.
