Senior Quantity Surveyor

To lead a team of Quantity Surveyors by organizing, assigning and reviewing their works.
To ensure best utilization of resources to maximize profitability of project.
Preparation of estimates, budgets, cost report and cash flows.
Review and comment on bids and contract awarded or newly acquired projects.
Estimating the value of engineering options and lifecycle costs.
Establishes and maintain program cost database.
Manages and assigns works to a QS under his/her team.
Evaluates and reviews work done by a QS.
Support and encourages his team regarding the value of productivity in a minimum period of time.
Assist in claims preparations in coordination with the Project Manager/Director.
Provides advice on contractual claims.
Coordination with the Management, Consultant and Contractors.
Carry out monthly valuations of works in progress including forecasting of final costs and sales.
Provide financial report to management or client as required.
Ensures that all procedure, standards, and specifications are met by the work done from his/her team.
Prepares monthly progress payments.
