Job Description

Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes; preference will be given to Sewerage System related experienceProven ability to perform in a management capacity and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the projectIn-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principlesDemonstrable track record in the delivery of large team led multidisciplinary projectsIn-depth knowledge of project management proceduresA rounded profile, comfortable with strategic planning, risk management and/or change management analysis and commercial considerations (the successful candidate will also be able to mobilize people and teams and by their leadership skills and secure successful deliverables)Strong communication skills both orally and written to build and maintain excellent working relationships within complex structures, both internally and with various project stakeholdersMandatory requirements:University degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field such as, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalentEvidence of discipline specific professional qualification PMP or equivalent MME Certification is mustExcellent communication skills in English, written and spokenQatar Drivers License holderDesirable requirements:Masters degree in a relevant field Arabic language skillsChartered engineer status from a recognized institution Experience of working in Qatar and / or the Gulf region
