Job Description

Job SummaryThe Hair Dresser provides an excellent service to customers within the salon environment. Assesses and understand the customers needs, but also suggests alternative styles, colors from own knowledge to suit the customers complexion, face shape and other physical feature.Job Responsibilities 1

  1. Ensures customer?s needs are identified.
  2. Carries out treatments in a relaxed friendly and clean environment.
  3. Book customer?s appointments with efficient time allocated for each appointment.
  4. Provides consultation and advice to customers if/when required, especially with providing a color services. Patch tests must be carried out.
  5. Ensures completion of customer?s record cards for every color and perm appointments.
  6. Maintains a clean working area and sanitize tools after each customer.
  7. Promotes and demonstrate products for retail.
  8. Assesses and understand the customers needs, but also suggests alternative styles, colors from own knowledge to suit the customers complexion, face shape and other physical feature.
  9. Undertakes general cleaning duties to ensure the Salon is kept to high standards.
  10. Ensures relevant infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times.

  • Knowledge of Hair Dressing Tools and Equipment
