Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment Provide support to the Area Delivery Managers where required upon EngineeringProvide regular progress reports and elevate issues to the AuthorityManages the day-to-day operational & contract aspects of projectsResponsible for providing feedback regarding project progress, deviations, changes and ensuring that the projects are delivered to the Clients StandardsHandover the site (possession of site), Pre-contract meeting (kick-off), and ROs and approvals officially to the ConsultantReview and approve project control system which measure the progress / performance, provide early warning of deviations from plan and identifies corrective actions to be takenMonitoring (after liaising with traffic unit) traffic diversions and ensure it is effective and safeEnsures that a quality control, safety plan compliance with QCS & Clients Specifications and coordination with Quality DepartmentReviews deliverables across projects, minimizes exposure and riskManage scope and achieves goals set for projects, confronts issues quicklyEnsure timely hand-over (delivery) of projectCertification of progress claim submitted by the consultants and contractorsPrepare and submit report to senior management on work progress statusInspect construction sites on a periodical basis to ensure conformance to design specifications and adherence to qualityInterprets, explains and enforces regulations and policies, confer with construction regarding possible changes to plans and problem resolution.Ensures that consultants and contractors produce regular reports on damages, accidents, delays, bad weather or emergenciesEncourages contractors to observe applicable safety rules and regulations.Identifies corrective action and agrees with consultants and contractorsMonitor and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participantsResponsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projectsLead team, project progress, technical and coordination meetingsManage and review performance of various consultants and contractors in terms of engineeringReview and recommend upon various designs throughout the lifetime of a projectApply international design standards across various projectsExperience of technical reviewsExperienced and technically excellent in design coordinationExperience of technical design software REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory REQUIREMENTSThe role requires candidate with Infrastructure experience specifically in Highways project, responsible for Construction & PlanningUniversity degree from a recognized university in an appropriate field such as Engineering or Architecture or equivalentExcellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
