JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Domain Specialist ? Application Operation Services, is a key operational role which is afoundational role in providing a secure, reliable and stable platform for all eHealth solutions.The Senior Domain Specialist has responsibility for ensuring that operational domain management, deviceintegration and the overall technical platform for eHealth solutions is secure, stable and reliable. S/he alsosupports ongoing project work as per the needs of the organization whilst maintaining live operationalservice.KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for the operational, and team performance of the Operations team within Application &
  • Operations Services reporting directly to the Manager ? Applications Operation Services.
  • Develops and oversees all Operations processes ensuring the processes and controls are evaluated
  • against the organization?s internal and external information needs on a quarterly basis
  • Provides leadership, manages and directs team-members to support operations on CareAware iBus, iBus
  • Integration and RDDS solutions
  • Leads and sets technical standards and architecture in relation to Millennium domain & Cerner
  • Architecture strategy
  • Makes recommendations to executive management regarding decisions related to Millennium,
  • CareAware Solutions and domain risks impacting Sidra
  • Ensures that day-to-day technical Operations of e-Health systems are functioning smoothly and that
  • these systems are meeting or exceeding the agreed service levels with consumers of these systems
  • Maintains the schedule for overall domain management, package management and technical
  • compliance which supports both short-term projects and longer-term operational needs.
  • Provides solution functionality and integration expertise regarding domain strategy, regulatory, code,
  • optimization, standards, and playbooks
  • Ensures that all requests for support and escalations are dealt with according to set standards and
  • procedures.
  • Develops employees in and beyond their respective roles and builds a culture of psychological safety
  • that makes team members accepted and respected
  • Establishes and drives audits, best practice and continuous improvement efforts that promotes ongoing
  • efficiency and enhancements across the team and maximizes benefit to the organization
  • Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with all staff members and stakeholders with specific
  • focus on clinical teams that requires device integration and the Biomedical Engineering function at Sidra
  • Conducts periodic vendor meetings to measure SLA?s, and provides feedback for operational
  • improvements
  • Maintains in-depth disciplinary knowledge, leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise
  • Manages highly sensitive and confidential information in a professional and compliant fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ? SELECTION CRITERIA:Education:ESSENTIAL:
  • Bachelors degree in a Computer related
Experience:ESSENTIAL:7+ years? experience inclusive of
  • Experience working on Cerner Millennium related environments
  • Experience in a project and operational capacity
  • Supporting and maintaining Cerner iBus for multiple customers, configurations and versions
  • Management experience in a team leadership role
  • Procurement/Contract Management & Administration experience
  • Experience in vendor relationship management
  • Experience in healthcare consultancy/vendor
  • Demonstrated experience in a role similar to this advertised role
  • Familiarity with ITIL V3 Foundation level preferably Service Transition & Service Operation
PREFERRED:
  • 5+ years supporting and maintaining Cerner iBus for multiple customers, configurations and versions
  • 5+ years management experience in a team leadership role
  • 4+ years Procurement/Contract Management & Administration experience
  • 3+ years? experience in vendor relationship management
  • 5+ years? experience in healthcare consultancy/vendor
Certification and Licensure:ESSENTIAL:
  • Cerner Millennium Technical Fundamentals
  • Cerner iBus Certification
  • Cerner ATIM Certification
PREFERRED:
  • Certification in ITIL V3 Foundation level preferably Service Transition & Service Operation
  • PMP Certification
Job Specific Skills and Abilities:ESSENTIAL:
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a similar role
  • Demonstrated team development skills
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated delivery in systems integration in a large complex environment
  • Aware of software and network security principles when applied to Healthcare IT
  • Demonstrated delivery in a greenfield or similar healthcare environment
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Proficiency in the tools supporting implementation and on-going Cerner maintenance, such as Bedrock, LightsOn, and additional technologies that support methodology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
