Key Responsibilities (Not a complete list)Provide support to the Area Delivery Managers where required upon DesignDevelops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following logical pattern for utilization of resourcesSelects and coordinates work of stakeholders working on various phases of the projectOversees performance of all trade Consultants and reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followedResponsible for overseeing the administration of construction contracts and ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are obtainedSupervises design managers, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficienciesTracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocatedReports to senior officials and architects about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicatedProvide regular progress reports and elevate issues to the AuthorityManage and review performance of various consultants and contractors in terms of designReview and recommend upon various designs throughout the lifetime of a projectApply international design standards across various projects REQUIREMENTS: University degree from a recognized university in an appropriate field such as Engineering or Architecture or equivalentMinimum of 15 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes; preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experienceExperience of technical reviewsExperienced and technically excellent in design coordinationExperience of technical design softwareA rounded profile, with experience of leading multidisciplinary design teams (the successful candidate will also be able to mobilize people and teams and by their leadership skills lead teams and secure successful deliverables)Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projectsExcellent communication skills in English, written and spokenDrivers License
