Job Description

Our ClientA leading Oil & Gas engineering company have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Data Architect based in their office in Doha, Qatar.Your ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the strategic design of data architecture systems. Their job is to optimize databases, developing ETL solutions, and managing automatized data flowOwn, create, and update companies enterprise data models and data architecture (across entities) Define digital & data platform architecture and services . Guide and align applications and digital solutions with companys enterprise data models, data governance and master data management Key contributor to the Architecture Review Board (ARB) decision meetings impacting IS technical strategy (including IS applications, Digital Data Platform and Digital Use cases)Responsible for the capturing of Companys Enterprise Data Model including the end-to-end data relations and lineage on cloud (DDP) and on-premises data as well as ensuring its alignment with the business Supports governance and overlook data sources to ensure its alignment with policies and best practices of handling Companys data Control and contribute to the design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions (i.e. data ingestion, data modeling) Ensure IS solutions are in alignment with data architecture, data governance and Master Data Management principlesYour Qualifications:Experience in petroleum operations data and good understanding of the related data sources Solid track record implementing and maintaining data architecture Strong experience in database technologies such as SQLStrong experience in Data governance (Such as Informatica AXON, EDC and IDQ) and MDM solutions Experience in data warehousing, data modeling and/or data analysis solutions (Such as ADLS, Ewrin, Power BI) Good knowledge of data management, data integration and database development techniques Strong experience with ETL and other business intelligence tools Ability to relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs Ability to regularly learn and adopt new technologies Practical experience developing reference architecture, principles and standards Robust analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams10 years of experience in Information Technology/Solutions field 5 years of experience in Data and Information Management for Oil and Gas Upstream operations . 5+ years of experience in Project Management Good Knowledge of Applications Architecture and Information Security Principles .
