Employment: Full Time Position: Senior BIM EngineerLocation: QatarAssume responsibility and represent Design Department for all aspects related to engineeringProvide leadership in all relevant Department functionsLead external & internal coordination pertinent to infrastructure inception & designReview comments / recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants submissionComprehensive responsibility for management and control related functions in in-house projects, including detailed scope definition and initiation, work progress and completion and staff managementLiaise with utilities providers and other stakeholdersPerformance of actual design duties when directedPerformance of other related duties as per management instructionsSupervise and control the activities of assigned personnel including allocating work and determining prioritiesSupervise a team of Engineers responsible for review of designsTo assist in initiating new work and preparation of design briefs to consultantsProvision of technical adviseWorking knowledge of written and/or spoken Arabic would be an advantageousOverseeing/preparing design reports, management or any other reports as directed REQUIREMENTS: Job Specification:BSc/BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from recognised universityCEng, PE, Peng or equivalent Chartership in an advantage15 years of demonstrable experience in all related disciplinesMinimum of 4 years of relevant working experience with the management capacityGood knowledge and experience of international and GCC design and construction codeWorking knowledge of written and spoken Arabic would be advantageousExcellent written and verbal English language communication skillsQualification in project management is considered an advantageSatisfactory exposure to international and GCC condition and Engagement/ContractsShall have basic understanding of the modelling process and common data environment workflows in accordance with international BIM standards like ISO 19650 Uses e.g. Design Review and Design Coordination
