Senior Ansible Developer

Job Description

Position Overview: As 13+ years Senior Ansible Developer and Architect, Pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Ansible Playbooks solutions using Ansible (RHEL v8, RHEL v9) to streamline and enhance the banks IT infrastructure and operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability across the organizations technology landscape. Roles and Responsibilities: Solution Design:. Collaborate with IT teams to identify areas of improvement within the companys infrastructure and application deployments. . Design, architect, and implement Ansible-based solutions to automate repetitive tasks, provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. Ansible Tower Experience: . Should have worked in Ansible Tower or Ansible AWX tools to handle multiple and complex playbook executions and troubleshooting the ansible logs. . Should have handled all type of user management, project handling, organization creations. . Should have access control process experience. Ansible Playbook Development: . Develop, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and templates to automate various infrastructure and application components. . Ensure playbooks are well-documented, version-controlled, and adhere to best practices for maintainability and reusability. . Should have Ansible Roles deployment experience and handling a complex playbook to simplify with roles. . Should have Ansible Collections handling experience . Should have capability to automate Oracle - DB Patching . Should have experience in hardening any Linux System using Ansible Playbook. . Vulnerability Agent scanning and Agent installation and Agent monitoring using Ansible Playbook. . Integration with CyberArk for Playbooks authentication. . Develop the playbook to handle Static inventory and Dynamic Inventory. . Develop the dynamic playbook as on when required as per the Ad-hoc requirements. Cloud Automations: . Should have experienced in AWS - automation using Python . Should have experienced in Azure - Automation using Powershell. . Should have experienced in Azure - Scaleset creation Page 2 of 3 . Should have experienced in Azure - DevOps for pipeline automations. . Should have experienced in Google Cloud Solution Architecture o Should have designed a Migration Plan from On-Premises datacenter to Cloud. o Should have designed a Hybrid Design Plan using GCP. o Should have experience in all GCP resource deployments and automations. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): . Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Ansible, enabling the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources in a consistent and repeatable manner. Configuration Management: . Manage and maintain the configuration of servers, network devices, and other infrastructure components using Ansible.. Monitor and update configuration management processes to ensure compliance, security, and efficient resource utilization. Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): . Integrate Ansible into the banks CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless application deployments and updates. . Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to enhance deployment processes and reduce timeto-market. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: . Monitor Ansible processes, addressing any issues or failures in a timely manner. . Troubleshoot and resolve playbooks -related problems to maintain system stability and reliability. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance. . Share knowledge and best practices related to Ansible within the team and across the organization. Security and Compliance: . Implement security best practices within Ansible processes, ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Training and Development: . Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Ansible. . Continuously enhance skills through training and self-learning Required Qualifications & Skills . Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it . Excellent analytical, and creative problem-solving skills . Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills . Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail . Highly self-motivated and directed. . Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. . Strong customer service orientation . Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Educational Qualifications: . Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Skills & Experience: . Proven experience as Ansible Engineer.. Strong experience of Cloud Automations on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. . Strong proficiency in Ansible, including playbook development scripting. . Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts, networking, and IT operations. . Proficiency in Powershell Scripting PowerCLI for VMware - Virtual Machines, SpaceWalk - Oracle Linux, Nutanix - NDB. . Expert in Shell Scripting, Python Scripting to automate SQL DB Insert and Update for Dashboard reports. . Experience with version control systems such as BitBucket, GitLab, SVN (Sub-Version) and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab. . Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies. . Exposure to Agile Methodology project delivery.. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. . Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. . Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Redhat Certified Engineer (RHCE) - Ansible Certification are required
