Security Operations Manager up to 30k Aed for an International It Security Company in QatarJOB DESCRIPTION:-Manage security operations for a Tier 1 customer-Manage a team Onsite and Offshore-Prepare and implement SOPs, provide L1/L2/L3 support and meet KPIs / SLAs-Contact with the customer as focal point for all high priority & major incidents reported-Provide first line supervision to direct reports-Develop and administer SOC processes and review their application to ensure that SOCs controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively-Provide management oversight for the identification, triage and response of events or incidents of apparent security breaches-Produce and review aggregated performance metrics-Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the SOC, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions-Play a significant role in long-term SOC strategy and planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence-Plan, coordinate, and control the restoration of simple, complex or high impact of system problems that occur within the production environment of clients systems-Handle conflict situations and make critical decisions while driving incidents-Develop strong working relationships with support teams and management-Provide oversight of the 8x5 SOC and Security Tools Engineering teams to support security monitoring, protection, and delivery of security services for the clients-Responsible for overall situational awareness, security posture, and overall dedicated onsite position with the client-Management of resources to include personnel, budget, shift scheduling, and technology strategy to meet SLAs-Track SLA compliance-Escalation management and organizational focal point for critical incidents-Manage and ensure timely response and investigations of security events-Develop, and implement, and oversee SOC standard operating procedures to guide daily activities-Creation of dashboards, reports, and metrics for executive management-Measurement, tracking, and reporting of security incidents-Escalation Management and organizational focal point for critical incidents-Manage and ensure timely response and investigations of security events-Overall delivery management-Lead of meetings with technical, commercial, customer and executive level REQUIREMENTS: -POSITION: Security Operations Manager-SALARY: 30,000 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications-HIRING COMPANY: International IT Security Company-WORK LOCATION: Doha, Qatar-AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized-EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PermanentCANDIDATE PROFILE:-Open to any nationality, Indian/Arabic is preferred-Male/Female, 50 years old and belowEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:-Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Security Administration/any related studies-More than 10 years of relevant experience-Previously/currently worked in a managerial role for a security/cybersecurity company/department/function-Excellent knowledge of Logrythm platform-Deep Technical knowhow SOC and various SIEMs-Knowledge Base management and updating-Experienced in managed IT and Security services design-Knowledge of actual state of the art technical products and solutions-Strong financial knowledgeSKILLS REQUIRED:-Capable of making critical decisions-Taking responsibility-Adaptive for corporate bid methods, techniques and tools-Strong incident /problem management skills-Good people management skills-Communication, writing and presentation-Leadership and management-Risk management-Working independently as well as cooperatively in teams-Fluent technical and business English (additionally Arabic is plus)
