Employment: Full Time Are you an experienced SCADA engineer and looking for a new opportunity in Qatar, then Arcadis may have a fantastic opportunity for you.Role Summary:Inspection of works both in progress and on completion to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and technical specifications applicable to road and utility installations. Maintenance of robust records of all inspections undertaken to support the completion of the Project Record and to underpin contractor payments. Providing onsite support to Site Engineers, Land Surveyors and Safety Engineers as requested.Role REQUIREMENTSReview contract documents and construction drawings to identify any anomalies/conflictsSupervise contractors works and maintain the required records and associated registersVerify measures of works completed and prepare regular reports on the progress vs. programmeReview and comment on contractor submissionsAttend inspections with authoritiesSupport in Kahramaa inspections and reviews as requiredReview design and assist in co-ordination with other disciplines to ensure constructabilityEnsure all material inspection and testing is carried out in accordance with the specification and the contract requirementsReview and prepare responses to contractors submissions (i.e. Method Statements, RFIs, ITPs, etc.)Observe site safety and issue notices as appropriateReport to Assitant Resident Engineer and update on issues as requiredParticipate in planning, risk identification & assist in resolution of issues in a timely mannerCheck instructions are being carried outEnsure accuracy and completeness of records, including As Built documentationPrepare documentation for the completed works for client Hand-over REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Engineering from a recognised education institution7- 10 years ExperienceThe experience shall include at least 5 years in the field of reservoirs & water supply engineering worksPast experience shall include successfully completing a previous position as SCADA Engineer or inspectorKnowledge of BS design standardsKnowledge on control system and networking systems. Candidate should have worked with process systems especially in pumping station control systems and integration to master SCADA systemsExperience in the integration between different communication protocolsPreference will be given to staff with experience in the design and construction of major works for pipelines, water-retaining structures and pump stationsPreference will also be given to those with experience of Kahramaa Master SCADA (for KM NWCC SCADA) integration.
