  • Responsible for the production of Urban Interface Plans with regards to the concept of traffic and road access.
  • Responsible for the concept solutions of access roads, drop-off laybys, taxi stands, bus stops, P&R facilities in coordination with the Transport Planning department.
  • Identification and delivery of bespoke UIP/SAP solutions to minimize urban conflicts whilst maximizing potential railway patronage.
  • Coordination of the various internal design teams to deliver UIP solutions which all teams (Alignment, Civil, Architectural, Utilities and Land Acquisition) concur with.
  • Coordination with the external stakeholders, the managers and experts of the engineering department and the program departments to develop Urban Interface concepts which clearly identify unambiguous interfaces between railway and other modes of transport
PROFILE:
  • Bachelor?s (B.Sc.) or equivalent in Civil engineering. MBA is preferred.
  • Min. 10 years? experience in urban planning associated with large scale international projects.
  • 5 years? experience in road / traffic facilities design.
  • Conversant with urban planning and public projects coordination and approval processes.
  • Autodesk AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience.
