Job Description

TAX Free Contractual Job Opportunity has just been made available for an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer for aCO2 Sequestration Project by a leading oil and gas operator to be based in Qatar. Job Purpose

  • Lead the implementation of high level technical expertise in rotating equipment engineering, requiring analytical, interpretative and constructive thinking with a significant degree of evaluative judgement, to ensure the highest level of engineering integrity and reliability, and safety and environmental compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge and/or Experience
  • 6 - 8 years? experience working in the field of rotating equipment, preferably in the oil and gas industry with exposure to onshore . Strong mechanical rotating experience at a senior engineer level with in-depth knowledge and understanding of industry best practices and the ability to introduce new concepts to ensure maximum reliability and availability of all rotating equipment. CO2 sequestration Project experience is an added advantage
  • Previous experience in the development of conceptual and detailed design, simulations, economics and business cases.

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Good organisational and facilitation skills.
  • Computer literacy with strong knowledge of Microsoft office and technical applications.
