With over 2,500 multidisciplinary professionals and staff, we are an international professional consulting services firm.We are now seeking an exceptional Road Safety Engineer to join our award-winning team based within our Qatar Office.This critical role will be responsible for auditing, investigating and analyzing road safety requirements in compliance with regional and national standards.Responsibilities:Paramount to success within this varied role will include:Designing road safety improvements.Preparing contract documents.Ensuring all works are carried out based on Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and Traffic Safety Standards (QTM).Supervising, reviewing and approving contractors submittals.Resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.Ensuring that contractors Traffic Officers are carrying out their traffic diversion routine inspections as prescribed in the contract document.Reviewing the contractors traffic management plans and method statements.Reviewing the proposed diversion route such as temporary road layout, temporary/permanent safety barriers and lighting on carriageways. REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 14 years career experience partnered with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Knowledge of Qatar Highways Design Manual (QHDM) and Work Zone Traffic Manual Guide (WZTMG) are essential.KEOs performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety and our people.
