Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented field sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will possess a sales management and technical background that enables them to recruit, develop, and lead a team of Named Account Managers that geographically covers a large region, while driving business-building activities around sales strategy, customer service, working alongside partners, and business operations.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

• You will be responsible for driving revenue and market share in Qatar or set of strategic accounts thus meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets.
• You will also have a responsibility to hire, build, manage and mentor a sales team.
• Develop and execute against a strategic territory sales plan that addresses activities for capillarity at territory markets.
• Lead internal projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategic development.
• You will be working closely with partners to extend reach & drive adoption as well as manage contract negotiations.
• Developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction will be a key measure to success
• It will be useful to have requisite experience within infrastructure/services IT companies.
• Fluency in English and Arabic will be extremely helpful, in addition to a technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS ? which will be a huge advantage

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?The hiring manager for this role is Director for Gulf. He leads a territory of multi countries, with a total os 18 Account managers supported by a team of Solutions Engineers (SE?s) and Business Unit Specialists covering the technology portfolio.He brings a coaching led management style, built on 20 years? experience of leading and implementing sales methodologies to build sustainable customer relationships. He holds a deep philosophy for customer curiosity, relentless energy, process focus and team contribution.Where is this role located?The role is based out of Qatar. The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
