The role is responsible for leading the completely quality function both quality control and quality assurance for the manufacturing unit of a well heads and valves manufacturing companyClient DetailsThe company is a global player and is an industry leader in wellheads and Valves manufacturing.DescriptionTake charge of planning, coordinating, overseeing, and managing all activities related to the Quality & Safety Management System.Act as the representative for management in matters concerning ISO:9001, API Q1, ISO:14001 & OHSAS 18001.Collaborate with Quality Management and standard organisations (such as API Monogram Program Certifications, Third Party Inspection/Certification Agencies, HSE) to ensure compliance.Develop, implement, and enhance QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures to align with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001, API Q1 & ISO/TS29001.Strategize and ensure the effectiveness of internal and external quality audits.Evaluate and analyse quality issues, implementing systems to detect, track, report, and minimise non-conformities.Engage actively at all levels, from strategy to execution, and motivate diverse individuals to ensure commitment to the overall QHSE systems.Handle customer complaints effectively.Maintain open communication with management and staff to ensure ongoing integration of QHSE principles into core operations.Monitor and ensure compliance with all Quality, Health, and Safety Environment regulations.Prepare, monitor, and control the departments annual budget, efficiently allocating resources for assigned tasks.Establish communication channels with customers and suppliers as necessary regarding quality issues and Quality Management Systems.Conduct hazard assessments, risk assessments, and aspect & impact assessments to implement appropriate operational controls.Participate in various meetings, training sessions, and the maintenance of up-to-date documents and records for all aspects of the Quality & Safety Management Systems.ProfileRequired work experience of 12 to 15 years in a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the wellhead & valves manufacturing industry.Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the GCC region.Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is desirable.NDE Certification at SNT-TC-1A Level 2.Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certification.Expertise in API 6A & API 6D.Familiarity with API standards such as 16A, 16C, 5CT, API 7-1, API 7-2, and API 5B.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Experience using an ERP SystemKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is preferredJob OfferOpportunity to work with an employee-centric organisation with excellent benefits
