The Project Controls Specialist EPC-3/EPC-4 (E&P) supports all Engineering and Procurement relevant aspects of project controls activities including reporting, schedule control and progress verification. Monitors the Contractor?s project controls performance in˙the areas of scheduling, progress measurement and reporting, providing advice where necessary to make certain the Company?s˙objectives are achieved.
Provides reporting, schedule control and progress measurement expertise within the Project Team for Engineering & Procurement phases.
Ensure that the work executed by Project Control is in line with the Contract˙requirements and in compliance to Company Procedures & Policies.
Supports Project Controls Team with ongoing project reporting, schedule control and other adhoc business team deliverables within the agreed targets of schedule & project timeline.
Develops, coordinate and compile input from project team members, to˙maintain a set of standard reporting tools, templates, procedures, guidelines, and flow charts to suit project team requirements and needs (dashboards,˙monthly/weekly reports, risks, action tracking, KPI?s and other required˙reports).
Standardises flow of information/data from EPC Contractor and provide˙reporting to the project team that utilises current E&P information to enhance˙communication and support effective project execution.
Monitors EPC Contractor?s project controls performance in the areas of planning,˙progress measurement and reporting.
Validate the content and accuracy of EPC Contractor reporting.
Review EPC Contractor submitted schedule baseline and forecasts.
Identify progress performance trends likely to impact project schedule
Verification of measured progress reported by the Contractor.
Promotes inter-departmental communications and encourages teamwork.
Functions as backfill for PMT Lead Project Control during planned absence.
Participates in gathering and recording lessons learned for the project.
Monitor and validate Key Milestones and associated Milestones.
