DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead the electrical design and engineering efforts for offshore projects, including platforms, substations, power distribution systems, and associated facilities.
Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, and detailed engineering to develop cost-effective and reliable electrical solutions.
Perform electrical load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection to meet project requirements and performance criteria.
Manage electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project objectives.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in offshore electrical engineering, including power generation, distribution, protection, and control systems.
Conduct electrical analyses, simulations, and assessments to optimize system performance, reliability, and safety.
Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to incorporate best practices into project designs.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements governing offshore electrical systems and installations.
Perform quality reviews of electrical designs, specifications, and deliverables to maintain high standards of engineering excellence and safety.
Support internal and external audits, inspections, and certifications related to electrical engineering
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on electrical engineering matters, addressing inquiries, providing technical guidance, and fostering strong relationships.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions to communicate project progress, key milestones, and technical solutions effectively.
