Currently, we are seeking forPayables Accountant. In this role, the successful candidate is to will be to provide financial reporting, cost control and file profitability management. Also, the candidate should be able to develop, maintain and enhance internal financial controls to safeguard the assets of the company.Key Responsibilities:Customer - Internal? To ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments? To liaise with all the departments to ensure all the invoices are received on time for recording & proper allocation of payments? To coordinate with all the stakeholders and ensure physical verification of fixed assets is done on a yearly basis in accordance with the company policy and procedures? Review of accruals report with internal stakeholders to ensure all the invoices are received on time thereby avoiding any provisionsStakeholders - External? To liaise with external auditors.? To effectively manage procurement and develop cost efficiency methods.? To ensure all the finance documents are properly stored physically or electronic as per the approved company policy in line with the local tax requirements? Ensure all the vendors are correctly on boarded with correct documentation? Ensure all the suppliers are paid as per the agreed credit terms in alignment with the treasury guidelinesProcess? Coordination with Shared service center for back office accounting.? To monitor Ageing payable reports and provide comments ,report disputes wherever applicable.? To monitor and review long outstanding payables? To ensure adherence to MOM for all PTP requirements.? To make general DOE provision for P/L completenessJob Skills, Qualifications & Experience:Skills? Good interpersonal and communication skills.?
