Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our legal department, assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Qatar. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of the Qatari legal system.Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Documentation and Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums on various legal topics, including labor law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance as well as monitoring legal developments in Qatar and providing summaries or reports to legal counsel.
  • Dispute Resolution / Litigation: Assist with the management of litigation cases, including gathering evidence, maintaining case files and liaising with liaising with external counsel as necessary.
  • Corporate Governance and Compliance: Assist in the formation and governance of legal entities, ensuring corporate compliance with relevant local, regional and international laws by maintaining and organizing legal records, licenses, and corporate filings.
  • Liaison: Liaise with regulators and government authorities (e.g., MOCI, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Justice) as needed.
