Job Description
Lifts and strips hollow core and precast units in accordance with established guidelines for lifting andhandling.
Checks weight of the element for lifting and ensure that it falls within the safe weight limit of the crane.
Prior to start of crane operation, checks the rope and break condition of the crane and inform the supervisor of any malfunction.
Ensures that the crane remains off-limits to unauthorized users.
To ensure the proper operation of the overhead / gantry crane and all lifting and hoisting activities inside and outside the factory are attended to accordingly.
