Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems in a stock exchange environment
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of Oracle databases by implementing best practices and monitoring tools
Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery
Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of database systems with other IT systems and applications
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, including query optimization and tuning
Provide support for database-related incidents and service requests, including after-hours support as needed
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for the database systems
Develop and maintain documentation of database systems, including standards, procedures, and policies
Participate in capacity planning and scalability initiatives to ensure database systems can meet business demands
Continuously improve the performance and reliability of the database systems through regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching
