Operation Control Center (OCC) Manager

Job Description

Employment: Full Time Ensures Metro operations as per schedule requirementsOverall in-charge of various aspects that ensures smooth Train Running OperationsEstablishes strategies and procedures for efficient operation of the Control Centre.Responsible to set up process, method and organization, in particular those handling safety, for operations in respect with the objectives defined by Chief Operation Officer and suggest all improvements as regard to both operationally and financially.Monitors the preparation of OCC roster in close liaison with Engineering DivisionEnsures smooth flow of communication across various teams working in OCC and also takes care that best practices are implemented across various teamsFollows up on corrective maintenance on tracks and equipments in close coordination with the maintenance teamCheck and analyze all data, log books, reports of his department and set up and suggest improvement action plans. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications / Skills Expectations for Ideal CandidatesEducation: Qualified engineerShould possess a minimum experience of 8-10 years in the relevant field (transportation systems)Previous experience of setting up processes and trainingPrevious experience of managing and developing team effectivelyManage his team with calm and objective particularly during challenging incident related situations.Able to identify priorities, make decisions, and manage resources in both normal and urgent situationsHas a track record in the management of resources and people.Able to anticipate, analyze, identify, and resolve problems cost effectively Competent in (anticipation) analysis, identifying and resolving problems rather classic and cost effectively.High capacity for technical diagnosis - analysis, diagnosis and application.Has the ability to plan and organize for maximum impact on operational efficiency.Strong sense of customer serviceDevelops cooperative relationships with both internal and external actorsIs a highly competent oral and written communicator
