Ensure safety expectations are clearly communicated and understood and that safety kickoff meetings are conducted prior to execution of the work.
Support Contractor?s execution of safety plan.
Ensure civil discipline technical aspects of the Risk Management Plan are managed effectively and identified hazards/risks are mitigated; and lead risk assessment workshops and construction kickoff meetings to maintain the expected level of quality and safety as defined in the Quality Assurance and Safety Management Plans.
Contribute to coordination and planning meetings and participate in daily construction conference meetings/calls, including with offshore as required, to achieve readiness and timely completion of construction activities.
Review and approve design changes, specifications, revisions, and exceptions related to civil construction activities and support engineering with eMOC development and construction clarifications to ensure compliance to the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.
Proactively facilitate with stakeholders best for project solutions for changes in the onshore/offshore integrated schedule.
Manage and prioritize civil site construction activities and execution sequence, and support EPC contractor.
Monitor contractor and his sub-contractor?s performance and provide advice and support as necessary to the PMT and business team with field evidence for contract non-conformance to ensure design goals and philosophies are achieved.
Highlight timely to Management attention, any signs of poor CONTRACTOR performance and take the lead for providing immediate corrective action proposals.
