Role Summary:The On Wing Support technician based in Doha, Qatar, will be responsible for performing maintenance on GE/CFM commercial aircraft engines. The OWS technician may be deployed on short notice to any location around the world to carry out maintenance work. Module removal and installation, line maintenance, borescope inspections and boroblends are among the tasks commonly required.Essential Responsibilities:Perform maintenance on GE/CFM aircraft engines around the world to the highest quality standardsUnderstand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual proceduresDemonstrate required knowledge of OWS Quality Procedures, as well as EASA/FAA/GCAAPart 145 requirements and proceduresPerform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications/REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Aviation Industry performing maintenance on commercial aircraft enginesApprenticeship at an EASA Part 145 maintenance organization or FAA A&P licenseAvailability to work flexible shift patterns as required, including nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to travel on short notice and be deployed at remote locations for extended periods of time.About Us:GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
