Possess˙Indepth˙knowledge of various failure modes related to piping and mechanical˙equipments
Able to interpret various loads acting on˙equipments˙and related stresses. Familiar with stress analysis of pressure vessels and piping
Possess in depth knowledge of mechanical equipment and piping integrity assessment including Level 1 and Level 2 Fitness for service assessment according to established Codes and Standards viz API 579
Resolve engineering issues that may arise and communicate with the Project Execution Team.˙Elevate issues to higher levels when necessary.
Coordinate with˙consultants˙contractors, 3rd˙party entities and ensure that design deliverables meet international˙codes,˙standars, project specification and best engineering˙practices.
Evaluate complex tasks and provide appropriate recommendations to management on issues. Provide support to other disciplines and contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks.
Ensure project specific˙engineering˙surveillance˙plans are applied during the screening and review of engineering deliverables. Solicit subject matter expert/technical Authority endorsement on specification˙deviations.
Be focal point from discipline for safety˙studies,˙HAZOP, HAZID and facility wide risk assessment.
Be discipline focal point during˙in depended˙project Reviews˙(CERs) such as initial design readiness review, Final design readiness review, constructability reviews etc
Ensures compliance with QG systems and processes including the Qatargas Project Management System (QGPMS) and maintains support and adoption of all processes. Prepare plans and work schedules that ensure effective completion of projects.
Monitors and provides necessary guidance to the FEED, EPC Contractor(s) and all 3rd Party Services throughout the project phases. Ensures the facilities are constructed per the scope, meeting Qatargas standards and specifications, within the time and project cost approved by the shareholders.
Support /steward risk˙assessments as part standard deviations submission/approval process, construction risk assessment, SIMOPS studies etc
Support other engineers in complex analyses and assignments and provides expertise to ensure completion of activities within schedule.˙˙
