Select, inspect, test, installation of materials and specify corrosion control strategies applicable for highly sour service fields with special attention to Design Basis, preparation for FEED and EPIC, FEED & EPIC execution, design/safety/operations reviews in coordination with Engineering Manager(Offshore).
Lead the material selection study, develop suitable corrosion control strategy and implement corrosion monitoring philosophy for the highly sour offshore facility of the Bul Hanine Re-development Project.
Define offshore material and corrosion engineering deliverables and Scope of Work (SOW) for inclusion in Tenders for FEED and EPIC and participate in evaluating technical capabilities of contractors and vendors.
Review and endorse consultant/contractors design and coordinate the material and corrosion design review, evaluate options and select best techno-economic solutions.
Provide input into Design Basis, philosophies, specifications and Scope of Work for tender.
Review related detailed design specifications and drawings, submitted by Contractors and Consulting Engineers for compliance with Design Basis, Specifications, Codes, Standards and Industry Practices.
Provide technical support related to material and corrosion to the Project during FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation commissioning and start-up stages of the project.
Support handover planning and project completion.
Participate in implementing project HSE and QA/QC processes/procedures and activities in close coordination with project managementteam and in consultation with QP stakeholders with the aim of achieving safe and successful execution of the project, with products that meet project requirement.
Support Qatari development activities by ensuring that Qatari Nationals receive proper job training and development, in order to realize the full potential for local talent, and maximize contribution to project success
