Job Description

Our field services team support the on-site installation, maintenance and planning of our industry-leading products for our global customers.Partner with the bestAs a LWD Engineer, you will be responsible for providing LWD solutions at well sites. You will work under general supervision, collaborating closely with the Directional Drilling team. Utilizing computers, youll perform site surveys, monitor surface and formation evaluation services for wells during the drilling process.As a LWD Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining all types of LWD tools and the proposed BHA/LWD programs.
  • Troubleshooting and correcting tool problems and failures.
  • Operating the onsite computer services equipment to meet all the requirements of the equipment.
  • Performing all required LWD data processing and QA/QC.
  • Detecting and resolve anomalies in LWD data related to tools failure, formation response, telemetry issue, etc.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in directional survey with the relevant surveying tools to be used on the rig, as well as drilling optimization tools e.g. Copilot and other relevant measurements tool.
  • Be experienced RPS and LithoTrak tools operations
  • Be experienced with Baker Hughes advanced LWD tools such as STK, SDTK, TTK, NBG
  • Be experienced with Baker Hughes High speed pulser; BCPM 2
  • Be fluent in the English language (i.e., speaking, reading, and writing)
