Uphold safety, health, environmental and worker welfare performance of all logistics execution activities being implemented by the EPC Contractors.
Implements and sustains a strong safety culture by inspiring safety commitment via demonstration of safety leadership by example.
Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures and policies to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
Assure effective handling of shipping, including the aspects of customs, export/import matters and foreign government regulations.
Identify and implement transportation techniques for the purpose of moving project materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain a database to monitor logistic trends and up to date information regarding freight market (cargo vessel availability, crew availability and vessel berth plus rates).
Directs the planning and execution of logistics studies as required for project PMT.
Maintains contact with Traffic & Logistics (T&L) industry sources and information resources to remain informed of industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Maintains contacts with government regulatory agency personnel as necessary to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
