• Monitor security systems and tools to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.• Analyze security alerts, conduct initial investigations, and escalate incidents as per the incident escalation matrix.• Follow incident response procedures and guidelines to mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.• Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 Cybersecurity/Security Operations personnel to escalate and resolve complex security issues.• Ensure compliance with SLA parameters and respond to security incidents within the defined response times.• Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents, including the actions taken and the resolution status.• Participate in security audits and assessments to identify and address security vulnerabilities.• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.• Provide support during routine maintenance activities, including operating system upgrades, firmware upgrades, and configuration review.• Work closely with the IT team to ensure the overall availability and performance of the Cyber Security Infrastructure solutions and services.• Demonstrate an understanding of the Smart City Ecosystem Framework and the Unified Assets Operational Platform.• Apply analytical, planning, and reporting capabilities in the context of cybersecurity operations.Requirements• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field is preferred.• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations roles.• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.• Familiarity with security systems and tools, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and firewall systems.• Knowledge of incident response procedures and incident management frameworks.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are a plus.• Understanding of Smart City Ecosystem Framework and Unified Assets Operational Platform is desirable.
