Job Description

Job PurposeResponsible for providing execution support to all offshore project teams within the Major Projects organization, from Pre-FEED through to handover and closeout ensuring fit for purpose application of best practices, technology, and appropriate execution strategies for successful execution of Offshore projects.˙Coordinates, conducts, or participates in project assurance and other reviews to ensure projects are planned and executed in accordance with Company?s Project Management System standards and industry best practices.

  1. Key Job AccountabilitiesSupports Project Management Team (PMT) in managing and controlling project offshore execution (brownfield and greenfield), by providing guidance to the team, ensuring timely and effective directions are followed in all aspects of planning and executing the workload.
  2. Ensures overall compliance with Projects Execution Plans (Offshore), specifications, and procedures by promoting effective communication and teamworking together with best practice sharing to improve operational efficiencies.
  3. Ensures Project Team and Contractor achieves quality per the Project Quality Management Plan
  4. Ensures overall compliance with Projects specifications, procedures, and plans.
  5. Contributes to project workshops related to Offshore Execution such as, Complexity, Contracting Strategy, CDRA and HAZID, HAZOP, LL, VE etc., ensuring timely resolution to problems and challenges through best practices, industry standards and knowledge gained from personal experience.
  6. Endorses Management of Changes and extra work request as delegated.
  7. Works in a project environment to create a culture that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability every day.
  8. Coordinates significantly complex internal and external interfaces including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS)
  9. Clear and concise communications required with Project Team to ensure continuity in execution of EPC Agreement
  10. Leads by example and demonstrates high integrity in all details while sensitive to multi-cultural differences and effective communications with individuals for whom English is second language.˙
  11. Interacts effectively with Company?s Project Teams and Departments to resolve issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and an ability to influence without authority.
  12. Works complex tasks to completion with minimal supervision intervention.
