Rixos Qetaifan Island North Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country?s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North?s waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world?s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.Laundry Supervisor Park Services - WaterparkThis position is responsible for managing the Water Park laundry operation effectively and efficiently ensuring excellent laundry/dry-cleaning services. To also ensure quality controls are in place and manage colleague service inquiries.What?s in it for you:

• Conduct daily briefings, supervise, and train staff in day-to-day laundry operations
• Ensure guest laundry, dry cleaning and pressing is completed according to department standards and procedures
• Manage overall daily operations of the Laundry Department
• Ensure quality controls are in place for all laundry processes, rejecting any exceptions
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area
• Train, develop, and appraise the laundry team
• Ensure uniforms, shoes and housekeeping supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Business and Events
• Carry out stock takes
• Ensure par stocks are maintained
• Take receipt of stock and ensure safe storage
• Manage colleague service issues quickly and effectively
• Oversee the issuing of uniforms via a requisition system
• Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
• Carry out any other reasonable task set by the Water Park management
• Conduct uniform inventory monthly
• Assist all staff at the laundry counter for any service request.
• Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents, equipment, supplies and sewing kits.
• Check all laundry machinery to ensure that all filters are cleaned regularly, and press covers are in good condition; report any machine defects to Engineering
• Check the handover logbook and follow up any outstanding issues.

• Be well versed in Water Park fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
• Always maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management
• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships

• High school education
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
• English ? oral and written skills
• Building teamwork and developing others
• Knowledge on Laundry procedures and standards

• Service oriented with an eye for details
