Job Description

Job SummaryEnsures that all laundry is properly and efficiently laundered and that the departments stock of clean linens, tools and supplies is maintainedJob Responsibilities 1Principal Accountabilities

  • Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues.
  • Report immediately to the superiors in case any valuable items like cash, jewellery, creidt cards etc. found in guests cloth pockets.
  • Responsible to processes the guests clothing on the correct equipment / machines using the appropriate chemicals and temperature.
Job Responsibilities 2
  1. Properly fold all linens to the Predator Ridge standard
  2. Ensure the Housekeeping team has adequate clean linens and tools
  3. Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including machines
  4. Ensure all machine defects are promptly reported to the Manager or Supervisor
  5. Manually transport and distribute large loads of laundry to predesignated locations
  6. Handle chemicals in a responsible manner
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and guests in a courteous and professional manner
  8. Be able to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and requirements
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge in email communication as well as Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Knowledge of stain treatment in order to utilize the best strategies to remove the stain on each individual article.
  • Understand operation and function of laundry machines
