RESPONSIBILITIESThe L2 Engineer ? Storage & Backup responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Plan, design and implement customer and internal projects, upgrades and evolution.
Manage capacity and growth of the relevant IT infrastructure
Plan and implement the overall platforms and infrastructure security
Plan, design and implement new technologies and their operations support
Pre-sales/Sales support (solutions design and presentation, BOQ, implementation and project management estimates, scope of work and deliverables validation, ?)
Assist in Quality assurance and management
Fine tuning of the tools and introduction of new products/tools for the operations
Manage technical escalations and provide 3rd level technical support on all provided products and solutions. This includes outside working hours and days on-call support which may require extensive after-hours work, remotely and onsite, including nights, weekends and official holidays to resolve critical problems and/or deliver high priority projects and/or perform maintenance on critical system and network components
Take leadership role and help the L1 engineers with their work and assignments
Assist in other activities and projects as needed
