Java DeveloperQatar Information Technology (IT) Group Functions Job Reference # 260048BR City Doha Job Type Full Time Your role We?re seeking technology and domain leaders to join our development team within WMPC IT (Wealth Management Personal & Corporate) We are looking for someone who can: ?implement and deliver high quality software solutions / components for the Credit Risk platform that conform to architectural standards ?manage and own significant development tasks end-to-end ?demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs ?this is an Associate Director (AD) role in the area of WMPC IT . The role will be based out of Doha, Qatar Your team Youll be part of the global WMPC Technology IT team that is responsible for ?providing the systems needed by Wealth Management Client Advisors (CAs) and Credit Officers (CO?s) to provide their decisions related to client credit requests ?contributing in programs focusing on digitalization of front and back-office processes giving our clients a seamless digital experience ?providing the systems that ensure Banks compliance to various regulatory requirements Your expertise ?at a minimum, have a Degree level qualification ?have about 10+ years of hands-on development experience using core Java, and database ?have excellent understanding of Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle/PL-SQL, Postgres ?hands-on experience in Webservices, Microservices is a must along with DevOps experience ?knowledge of Cloud (Cloud native, CloudFoundry) ?have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work as part of a global team ?good to have knowledge of credit risk & recovery (limits, exposures, collaterals) or finance (provisions & write-off?s) ?you have been part of Agile Scrum teams UBS is the world?s largest and only truly global wealth manager.
