Job Description

Job SummaryThe IT Program Manager will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.Job Responsibilities 1

  • Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
  • Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Manages and sets priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems.
  • Percentage of service requests resolved within an agreed-upon period of time
  • Deviation of planned hours of work for project/program
  • Average break-even time of projects/programs
Job Responsibilities 2
  • Defines hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholders/ owners satisfaction in terms of technical ability and skills.
  • Conducts research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure and development efforts.
  • Average break-even time of projects/programs
  • Percentage of availability to provide standard infrastructure support
  • Percentage of outage due to changes (planned unavailability)
  • Negotiates with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure IT specific products and services.
  • Average response time of application transactions with vendors and outsourcers for IT products and services
  • Directs and administrates a contingent of network analysts and technicians, and where necessary, conduct performance reviews and corrective action.
  • Cost of service delivery to all employees

  • Thorough knowledge of advanced principles, theories, techniques, and methods of information system analysis and programming.
  • Understanding and experience with managing data network and telecommunications systems

  • Proven experience of supervising or managing and developing an effective team in a complex environment
