Investment Manager - Fixed IncomeJob SummaryThe Manager - Fixed income is expected to monitor and manage the Bank?s investments in fixed income markets and productsKey Accountabilities

  • Achieving budgeted performance objectives of the fixed income portfolio in compliance with established policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct credit quality assessment of the regional and international debt issuers for investments decisions and address questions or enquiries in connection with the portfolio
  • Generate investment ideas supported by detailed research and investment rationale.
  • Monitors closely the performance of the portfolio and make recommendations for remedial action when required.
  • Prepares portfolio performance reports with collation and maintenance of portfolio-related data for inclusion in MIS reports
  • Efficient and timely execution of transactions in accordance with the relevant internal and regulatory investment guidelines and limits and ensuring the application of best market practices across all aspects of his portfolio management activities
  • Maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and associated business functions including Operations, Middle Office, Risk, Finance and Internal Audit and external counterparties.
