, QatarJob Family Group:Production and Manufacturing DownstreamWorker Type:RegularPosting Start Date:May 19, 2022Business unit:Integrated GasExperience Level: Early Careers Where you fit InThe Instrument Field Maintenance Instrument Technician is part of the Area Maintenance Team(Instrument Discipline), responsible for carrying out Instrument preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the Pearl GTL Complex. Whats the role?The following is the list of principal responsibilities of the Instrument Technician.

• ?Goal Zero? mindset shall be the primary work culture. Safety Leadership shall be demonstrated and visible. Active participation in ?We Care? walkdowns and share observations and learnings with team.
• Compliance to the Companys code of conduct, HSSE Procedures and Permit to Work are mandatory requirement.
• Report to Instrument Supervisor and ensure individual mapped competency requirements and WALP requirements are achieved in the prescribed timeline. The Instrument Technician shall drive the WALP/Job Competency program with assistance of coach/Supervisor.
• Coaching Qatar National Technicians to enable achieve him the assigned WALP/competencies.
• Ensure upgrading of technical and professional competence as part of individual development and active involvement in Instrument Maintenance Smart Systems, viz. NISS, PCD Compliance, COMPEX.
• Accountable for the maintenance of Field Instrumentation by carrying out Flawless Asset Instrument Maintenance and/or assigned Turnaround responsibilities. Instrument Technician shall execute the assigned task with technical accuracy and efficiency.
• Accurate feedback that enables knowledge sharing and correct records in CMMS(SAP). Full utilization of the computerized maintenance management system.
• Active participation in the ME process thereby working towards achievement of team KPIs. Viz. CM/PM Compliance, Scheduled Attainment, SAP History Codes, etc.
• To participate in the assigned QA/QC assurance process of the Instrument Maintenance in the field/ workshop.
• Participate in Call-Out Duty Roster.
• Report Spare Issues to Supervisor and ensure follow up.
• Interface with other disciplines and departments to enable high quality maintenance execution.

What we need from YouThe Instrument Technician shall possess more than 10 years of experience and skill in field instrumentation maintenance in a live Oil and Gas plant environment.

• Possess a decent exposure of working with DCS and IPS environment.
• Possess decent maintenance skills to attend Smart devices like Radar level Instruments, Valve Positioners and various type of flow measuring transmitters.
• Possess good maintenance skills for working on compressor related Instrumentation viz. Vibration, Speed, Valves, Governors & Converters.
• Possess skills for Instrument Valve repairs onsite and Workshop. Valves like Control Valves, On-Off Valves and Motor Operated Valves.
• Possess clear understanding and experience of Foundation Field bus and HART devices.
