ICT Project Manager

Job Description

Employment: Full Time PurposeThe ICT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project-related activities such as: on time and on budget management and delivery of projects, risk escalation, vendor oversight, status reporting and delivery of stakeholder requirements. Additional duties include the design and documentation of workflows that will positively impact project and operational effectivenessResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include, but not limited to:Manages day-to-day operational aspects of ICT projectsWorks with key stakeholders to develop all aspects of a data governance framework including; identification of data standards, data standards Policies and Procedures and a data dictionaryWorks closely with IT personnel and business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes.Identify resource needs and assigns individual responsibilitiesDocument and review deliverablesEffectively applies our methodology and enforces project standardsPrepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance proceduresMinimizes project risk (maintains project risk log)Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyEffectively facilitates team and stakeholder meetings REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related fieldAbility to build and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirementsProblem solving and skilled decision makingInformation and technology proficiencyExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsHighly analytical in identifying problems and able to provide clear recommendationsA champion for change with the ability to work well with cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasksAbility to deliver projects on time and within the scope and budgetMust be familiar with Enterprise Architecture standardsPossesses general understanding in the areas of IT Infrastructure, application programming, and system designAbility to identify business needs and as they relate to a specific projectPMP certified and sound knowledge in Microsoft Enterprise Project ManagementPractical knowledge of project methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Lean and KanbanAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and OutlookKnowledge of MS Project, e-mail/scheduling & other software applications preferredCandidate must be the ideal team player and a highly skilled communicatorCandidate should have excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
