? Be fully aware of the Company HSE requirements? Ensure that allactivities and works in responsibility are done in full compliance with the HSErequirements ofCompanyand the relevant Authorities? Directs and provideclose onsite supervision of all jobs being performed by the contractors in theassigned area within QAFCO facilities.? Ensure implementation of theCompanyContract requirements in area of responsibility and report any deviationthrough the line responsible? Actively contribute tosafety walks, reporting of accidents and investigation of accidents? Ensure that the worksare being done in accordance with the Quality requirements? Supervise the site HVACmaintenance activities and assist the Facilities and Services Engineer in thesame? Assist the Facilitiesand Services Engineer in reviewing and approving Work Method Statements? Follow up site HVC maintenanceactivities to confirm compliance with Work Method Statements and Maintenancemanuals? Provides accuratemaintenance history and closeout reports; maintains a log of all completed /ongoing work as per company requirements.? Follow up Contractorand Subcontractors during execution to assure the quality and safety aspects ofthe work.? Follow up Contractorand Subcontractors about interpretation and proper implementation of the technicalcontent of the Contract documents? Supports otherdisciplines related to HVAC works.? Attend siteinspections and verify correctness of the same? Ability to understandtechnical & maintenance problems and develop a structured work pack, plan,and execution? Recognition of defects& anomalies which represent a serious threat to safety/integrity of assetsand timely/appropriate communication, notification to Company engineers, linemanagement as appropriate.? Identify, report, andfollow up risks within own area of responsibility? Review, evaluation andinterpretation of inspection findings, defects, and repairs.? Experience in workingwith air cooled and water cooled screw, centrifugal, reciprocating chillers.? Knowledge on BMScontrols, trouble shooting on electrical and electronic controls of airconditioning systems.? Knowledge in aircooled and water-cooled package units, fresh air units, Process explosion proofchillers.? Knowledge incompressors? Bachelor?s Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University5 years direct and relevant experience related to HVACdiscipline in oil/gas or petrochemical or fertilizer industry, with at least 5years in a supervisor role? Ability to designindependently the HVAC units and ducts.
