Job Description

Job SummaryCommercial bank is looking to hire a Head of Treasury Finance and Product Control to join our dynamic organization. This role is reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Product Control acts as an independent control and assessment function with a remit to ensure the integrity of an organisation?s financial statements through preparation, oversight and independent verification of Daily and Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliation and substantiation, and valuation testing of the Bank?s trading inventoryKey Accountabilities

  • Daily P&L Reporting and Balance Sheet monitoring for all Bank?s products
  • Work closely with Business to provide daily and monthly trader sign off on the P&L
  • Provide clear, transparent and timely P&L explanations of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual P&L
  • Manage/explain any/all P&L and B/S variances from estimate/budgets
Other Accountabilities
  • Work closely with IT and the Digital Transformation teams to develop P/L and B/S reporting tools and improve efficiency of information flow
  • Be responsible for clear and continuous update and transparency of documentation for the Products the Bank uses and look to improve automation/enhancement of information
  • Become the key contact point for Finance/Treasury P/L understanding and information flow
  • Be key member of the Weekly Liquidity & P/L forum
