Job Description

Alutec is a leading glass manufacturing, building fa‡ade and architectural interiors specialist based in Qatar. As the Glass Plant Manager you have to lead the manufacturing process of the factory catering the sales requirement, adhering to quality assurance standards of the company using your technical and manufacturing knowledge and experience you have on the industry.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement policies, procedures, KPIs & SOPs and reporting structures to monitor plant / production activities and resolve operational issues to ensure compliance of projects / company short term and long-term goals.
  • Analyze sales, production output, labour input, raw material input, electricity and other resource intake and develop best practices to optimize production and enhance safety.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to plant personnel.
  • Establish programs to ensure plant training, upskilling and succession planning are in place to deliver both the short- and long-term business strategy.
  • Managing the master production schedule, work-in-progress inventory and the generation and execution of sites? schedules.
  • Deliver a LEAN/CI cost saving program through your team reducing operating expenditure within the business.˙
