It is essential that the candidate is a native/fluent Arabic speaker, aa a number of key stakeholders who the employee will work with are Arabic speakers. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording all day-to-day financial transactions of the companyResponsibilities* Use the accounting software to record day to day financial transactions in the correct accounts* Liaise with other departments for understanding the nature of each transaction and obtaining all relevant evidence for the postings* Perform bank and suppliers reconciliations* Analyze and control the fixed assets and expenses* Maintain registers of suppliers, supply agreements, and fixed assets* Assist in calculation of taxes and the completion of tax forms* Assist with payroll records* Enter data, maintain records and run reports in MS Excel spreadsheets* Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed* Assist the CFO with daily accounting administrative duties REQUIREMENTS: The Candidate* Education in Accounting, Finance or relevant* 1-5 years Bookkeeping experience (including double entries)* Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles* Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records* Experience with MS Excel spreadsheets* Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills* Great attention to detail* Eager to learn, develop and undertake new tasks and responsibilities* Proficiency in English and Arabic* Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage
