To Lead the development of the fresh food offer for Al Meera ensuring a range of suppliers and services that delight the customer whilst maximizing sales and profit for the Company.Work closely with the Director- Commercial during the annual planning stage. Contribute to developing plans and implementation roadmap for the fresh food Section.Working closely with Company Management to achieve Al Meeras Vision, Mission and values.Develop local and global sourcing of fresh goods and build intelligence of potential fresh suppliers.Negotiate vendors agreement in line with company policy and relevant legislation.Initiate methods for continuous improvement by gaining knowledge and awareness of marketing programs, campaigns, strategies and initiatives.Oversee the range development of fresh goods, including all third party suppliers in order to maximize customer interest, sales and profit.Select and manage the 3rd party suppliers responsible for fresh operation in store and in liaison with the operations team and the Fresh food specialist take action on poor performance / contract non-complianceWork with the Operations Merchandising team and the Fresh food Specialists to agree display standards and monitor adherence to agreed standards.Monitor progress of strategy and group adjectives.Ensure established safety, security and quality processes are executed consistently.Supervise the administrative actions regarding the import products, work on specific agreements with the overseas suppliers responding to the compliance with standards and regulations in coordination with the Import and Private label team.Develop the database management system to obtain quantified data per department to elaborate a purchase strategy with the top management.Perform all other duties as delegated by the Director - Commercial, or as per business requirement.
